Grievance Policy

Red Lotus Life is fully committed to conducting all CE Continuing Education activities in strict conformance with Red Lotus Life's Ethical Principles and Values and additionally in compliance with the Association of Social Work Boards. The Red Lotus Life written grievance policy guides its response in a timely and ethical manner to complaints. 

Red Lotus Life will comply with responsibilities to be non-discriminatory. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards will be the responsibility of the Director of Continuing Education in consultation with the Social Work Consultant. 

Red Lotus Life strives for fair treatment for all participants in a Continuing Education program. 

Should there be an issue that comes to the attention of Red Lotus Life which requires intervention and/or action, this procedural description serves as a template for handling such grievances. 

When a participant, either orally or in written format, files a grievance and expects action on a complaint, the following actions will be taken. 

1. If the grievance concerns a speaker, the content presented by the speaker, or the style of presentation, the individual filing the grievance will be asked to put his/her comments in written format. Red Lotus Life will review and resolve appropriately. 

2. If the grievance concerns content, level of presentation, or logistical or technical problems, the individual filing the grievance will be asked to put his/her comments in written format. Red Lotus Life will review and resolve appropriately. 

3. If the grievance concerns the Red Lotus Life CE program, in a specific regard, the individual filing the grievance will be asked to put his/her comments in written format. Red Lotus Life will review and the Director of Continuing Education with the Social Work Consultant will provide appropriate arbitration. 4. Refunds will be managed in compliance with the policy associated with the specific activity.

Participants may contact Red Lotus Life customer service by email at hello@redlotuslife.com. Participants may receive technical assistance for courses delivered online at hello@redlotuslife.com. Participants may contact the RLL Department of Continuing Education regarding education content, credit, or other matters of concern at 

hello@redlotuslife.com. The Social Work Consultant to the CE Program for RLL will be involved in all grievance resolutions for social workers.
